Recently, culture & entertainment content supplier Heartbeat Time announced to have completed Series A financing of several million USD. Ventech China took part in the investment. Heartbeat Time has put forward two products: Chuan Yue Jun, a love role-play light game for young women; and Kuai Shuang, a new-fashion reading app for post-95 and post-2000 users. Ms. Xinmi, CEO of Heartbeat Time, expressed that both Chuan Yue Jun and Kuai Shuang mainly provide interactive entertainment contents for young people, and are a pair of close-knit products. Kuai Shuang serves as a broad platform for users to read or create text contents, and its head contents can be further processed by Chuan Yue Jun into hot game works, while game works on Chuan Yue Jun can also gain broad exposure on Kuai Shuang.

Chuan Yue Jun, is a love role-play game and community for young women, with rich character and story design. The game contains interactive text and pictures, supported by vocal contents and manually operated characters. Love stories on Chuan Yue Jun include scenarios in time travel, urban life, campus, and fairy tales. Besides game playing, users can also interact with characters and other users through functions like moments and discussion boards. The source of Chuan Yue Jun’s story plots come from both internal creation and external IPs. Several months ago, the game received recognition from large numbers of users with its webpage version, whose story and character are based on cooperative creation with To the Sky Kingdom, a hot online TV series. Chuan Yue Jun also updated voice and live-streaming contents after the game was released, to keep users provided with new experiences. Now the product as gathered around 61,000 DAU.

The other app Kuai Shuang was developed after the team realized the strong spreading power of interactive text. As an interactive reading app, Kuai Shuang shares similarities in design and experience with the popular oversea reading app Hooked. Users will not read in the conventional page-turning way, but by tapping on the screen, as articles are split into short message bubbles popping out by tapping. Xinmi says that the outstanding articles can ensure readers are fed with bundles of mysteries in each bubble, and readers cannot stop tapping out the bubbles if they are attracted by the contents. Kuai Shuang also supports user to create UGC contents, and earn revenue from user subscription when their works are recognized by readers. Kuai Shuang was brought online on July 21st, and achieved 60k DAU and near 50% second-day retention rate within 2 weeks of operation.
