Recently, Ventech China RMB Fund’s seed-round portfolio company, VOLANT, announced that the company has completed Pre-A round of financing in the first half year of 2022, led by Future Capital, followed by Welight Capital and the Qingsong Fund. 

After only three months of development, Volante successfully completed the first flight of a 1:3 scale prototype of their test model. 

In 2022 January, Volant became the first eVTOL company in China to sign the Safety Assurance Cooperation Plan (PSP) with the Civil Aviation Administration of China. 

James Jin Chen, Managing Partner of Ventech China, said: "China's civil aviation market is quite different from that of Europe and the United States, but with the development of China's economy, the civil aviation market demand is increasing, and a number of Chinese civil aircraft manufacturing companies and core component suppliers will inevitably emerge.
