China eVTOL leader Volant announced the successful completion of Series A round financing. 

This round of financing was led by CDH Capital. This round of financing will be used to accelerate product machine development, testing and airworthiness certification, promote the construction of the Sichuan Volant project company, and continue to explore and develop application markets.

Volant takes it as its mission to provide the world with safe, green and economical passenger-grade eVTOLs. It has the courage to make breakthroughs and continue to innovate. 

The company's first product VE25 adopts a composite wing architecture and has a take-off weight of 2.5 tons, and can carry 1 driver and 5 passengers. It is the manned eVTOL with the strongest load capacity, the largest space and the highest development level known in the world. 

In August 2022, the VE25 full-scale technology demonstrator successfully rolled off the production line. 

In January 2023, the VE25 successfully completed its first round of test flights, ranking first in the world in development efficiency.

The on-site conversion flight completed in September 2023 is the second eVTOL of its type in the world to complete the conversion test flight. 

In October of the same year, Volant Aviation became the first company in East China to obtain airworthiness acceptance for manned eVTOL.
